MUSIC DIRECTOR (part time)
The Episcopal Church of the Ascension is located in Stillwater, Minnesota in the scenic Saint Croix River Valley. We are the first Episcopal parish to be established in Minnesota and our Sanctuary dates from 1885. It features Tiffany stained glass windows and a Dobson tracker organ. We are a welcoming parish that values traditional worship while being forward looking and open. We have had a strong music program, rooted in the Anglican choral tradition. In the past, our Youth Choir released two professionally produced CDs, toured in the United Kingdom, and performed with the Minnesota Orchestra on several occasions. We also have many amateur musicians in our congregation who contribute their talents across a range of musical styles.
